The Omniverse Project: A Manifesto

I have a dream.

A dream of a better future.

A dream where superlative standard of living and quality of life is available to all, where poverty and disease are obsolete;

where we live closer to Nature and in harmony with the environment;

where each of us achieves a measure of self-sufficiency and is free to pursue his / her personal path.

Impossible you say? Unrealistic? Naive? Childish?

But what if we already had at our disposal most of the tools and wisdom necessary to implement such a future?

What if we only needed to awaken to the possibility?

What if we could open our eyes to see the true depth of reality, transcending the filters and blinders of mainstream media and current social conventions?

What if Paradise / Utopia was just around the corner and all that was required was for a critical mass of people to truly awaken and acquire the proper mindset?

What if reaching this state of mind rested not on any dogmatic theory, but rather on the proper mix of artistic inspiration, scientific rigor, ancestral wisdom, technological tools, and spiritual awareness?

What if all intellectual and political ideologies were inherently incomplete and the solution lay in perfecting the people themselves, not the system?

What if the economic system could be made to serve family and community instead of the other way around?

What if evolutionary knowledge and awareness was situated at the interfaces, between East and West, between Art and Science, between Mind and Spirit?

What if one of the keys lied in an integrated worldview, in a new way of structuring knowledge?

What if each one of us, regardless of race, sex, origin, occupation, or social status, held a piece of the puzzle in a Grand Design?

What if seeking to improve one’s true quality of life was inherently a first step towards positive change for the world?

What if, at a sufficiently high level of awareness, altruism and selfishness became one and the same and led to a simple desire to evolve beyond our current limitations?

I have created the Omniverse Project to ponder these questions and seek answers. Its specific aims are to

1. make the world a better place;

2. promote an integrated worldview, as well as holistic and systemic thinking;

3. promote quality of life and self-sufficiency in terms of community, finances, health, and harmony with nature;

4. raise awareness on environmental issues and on sound environmental principles;

5. become a focal point for knowledge on quality of life, the environment, and appropriate technology;

6. create a worldwide community in support of these goals;

7. pursue research in evolutionary design and other areas to create tools that accelerate positive change.

The Omniverse Chronicles is the voice of the Omniverse Project and newsletter-style publication which, in support of all the above goals but especially goal 5, can be considered an encyclopedia in perpetual construction which presents knowledge in a new light.
